Ward T2 is a 19 bedded medically fit for discharge unit. Each a single room with a curtain dividing from the corridor.
Patients are re-located to Ward T2 once identified as Medically Fit For Discharge (MFFD) and awaiting further Discharge Plans to be put into place prior to going home, as identified by therapy and nursing teams.
On arrival to Ward T2 you may be asked to sit in the corridor (reverse board) until your allocated bed space is ready. Nursing and housekeeping staff will offer a drink, check your weight and complete a property form as part of the Ward T2 admission process.
Patients are encouraged to dress in their own clothes and sit up in the bedside chairs at mealtimes."
