My current role
I am a consultant endocrinologist, clinical lead for the metabolic bone service and honorary professor of medicine in Norwich.
I am an active trialist in the bone and calcium field and I'm currently UK CI on the Calypso trial and local PI on the Calibrate trial and a co-investigator on the Balance trial, all looking at new therapeutics for hypoparathyroidism. I am also local PI on the GAPDPD study, looking at genetic and environmental factors in pathogenesis of Paget's disease of the bone.
Previous history
I undertook my post graduate training at Imperial College London and in Oxford.
Membership and accreditations
I am a past convener of the Society for Endocrinology's Bone and Mineral Network, a medical adviser to Parathyroid UK, a past Director of the Norwich Paget's Association Centre of Excellence and clinical director of the NIHR Clinical Research Network in the East of England.
