My current role
I have been a consultant in Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge since 2007, my specialist interest is oesophago-gastric cancer surgery, including minimally invasive surgery.
Previous history
Prior to joining CUH, I studied in Southampton university, qualifying in 1993 and training in general, upper gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgery in Southampton and Oxford.
Membership and accreditations
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
Personal interests
My hobbies include cycling, swimming, photography and astronomy / astrophotography.
