I think the extreme complexity of medicine has become more than an individual clinician can handle. But not more than teams of clinicians can handle.

My current role
As an ENT consultant at Cambridge University Hospitals, I am a member of a team dedicated to delivering the highest quality care in skull base surgery, otology and hearing implantation.
Previous history
I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate training in London. Fellowship training in skull base surgery, otology and hearing implantation was undertaken in the UK and Australia. I have a masters degree in audiovestibular medicine.
Membership and accreditations
I am a council member of the British Skull Base Society and the Royal Society of Medicine: Otology Section.
I am also a member of the British Cochlear Implant Group, the Politzer Society (Former Treasurer), ENT UK and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
