My current role

I am currently a specialist support nurse and a research nurse for the vasculitis team in Addenbrooke's. I work alongside our lead nurse, doctors and research nurses in providing outpatient and inpatient care and treatment for patients with vasculitis and lupus.

Previous history

Before joining the vasculitis team, I joined CUH in 2015 and worked in ward C5 - renal and acute medicine as a junior sister for a number of years, caring for nephrology and acutely unwell patients in the hospital. This is where I first encountered patients with vasculitis and lupus as well.

I came from the Philippines with a background in working in a medical and surgical ward in a private hospital and later on as an outpatient haemodialysis nurse.
