My current role
I am a healthcare scientist in Blood Sciences and was elected as a staff governor in July 2022. As a healthcare scientist, my role involves conducting a wide range of scientific tests for patients to facilitate diagnosis, monitoring and managing of diseases.
With good exposure and understanding the difficulties that the Trust is trying to address for patients, staff and the community, I am keen to support the organisation as a staff governor by becoming an accessible and approachable point of contact for the local population as well as representing their views to ensure the Board is fully aware of the real impact that decisions have on patients and staff.
Previous history
I Joined CUH in 2015 where I was a Healthcare Assistant and worked in different wards within the hospital.

I like to keep active and enjoy running.
