Before joining the allergy team in Cambridge in 2015 Louise was the Lead Research Nurse for an important national study investigating the impact of early introduction of allergenic foods into a child’s diet, the “EAT Study”.
Louise then relocated to the Cambridge area and the NHS setting. Her role now is that of Paediatric Allergy Nurse Specialist at Cambridge University Hospitals where she works within a larger team of both adult and paediatric doctors and nurses providing initial diagnosis and on-going management for patients.
Louise’s role includes providing high quality care for children undergoing immunotherapy, including peanut immunotherapy in CPAC.
Louise’s specialist interest is of no surprise… The prevention and initial treatment of allergy in children.
