My current role
In my clinical role, I am the lead for respiratory medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals. My special interests are in asthma and interventional pulmonology.
My research studies are around fundamental immunological mechanisms in asthma. This is funded through the Medical Research Council. I also perform clinical research and am principle investigator on clinical research trials.
Previous history
I read medicine at Cambridge University, and also gained my PhD from here.
I spent a significant amount of time performing research at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, USA.
I completed my clinical training in the East of England.
