My current role
I have been a consultant radiologist at Addenbrooke’s, since 1999, and specialise in breast imaging. I was appointed clinical sub dean for CUH in 2011, with responsibility for all medical student teaching across the Trust. I am also an affiliated assistant professor at the University of Cambridge school of clinical medicine and fellow and director of studies in clinical medicine at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge, where I was vice president from 2014 - 2019. In 2021, I was appointed as a cultural ambassador for CUH.
I am committed to excellence in breast imaging and actively participates in research to inform and improve clinical service. I have a strong involvement in all aspects of medical education and training, for which I have received multiple awards at university, regional and national levels. I also undertake many education-related roles for the Royal College of Radiologists, including deputy chair of the final FRCR part B exam board. I am a regularly invited speaker at national and international meetings.
