My current role
My role in the neuropsychology department involves working with patients with neurological disorders; to name a few, this includes conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, encephalitis and dementia.
As part of the inpatient team, I work closely with the multidisciplinary team on the wards in providing care to patients. I carry out neuropsychological assessments with patients to assess for cognitive, emotional and behavioural changes following the diagnosis of their neurological conditions. I also provide cognitive rehabilitation and support with emotional adjustment to patients as part of their recovery journey to relearn skills and adapt to life after brain injury / neurological changes.
Previous history
I obtained my Doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of East Anglia in 2022. I then had the privilege of joining my current team in 2023.
