My current role
I look after patients with inflammation of the nervous system, and patients who need intensive care treatment because of neurological problems. I also run a research group investigating the role of the immune system in severe head injury.
Previous history
I studied medicine at the University of East Anglia, and undertook a PhD in neuroimmunology at the University of Cambridge.
Personal interests
Outside work I enjoy mountain biking, listening to / playing music, and spending time with my wife and children.
