Mahatma Gandhi
My current role
I look after patients with prostate cancer, bladder cancer and general urological conditions. I am responsible for the urology cancer multidisciplinary team.
Previous history
I studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and St George's Hospital Medical School in London and qualified in 2005. I gained a PhD from Imperial College, London in 2011 before starting my specialist urology training. In 2017 I undertook a fellowship in urological oncology and robotic surgery at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Personal interests
I am involved in MDT (multidisciplinary cancer teams) research, and have written and presented on leadership, decision-making, and non-technical skills in this area. I enjoy teaching students, healthcare professionals and doctors about communication skills, MDT improvement and urological cancers. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the gym.
