Neural mobility exercises

Patient information A-Z

When carrying out the exercises contained within this sheet, the following should be taken into consideration:

  • Any increase in your resting symptoms should settle down within 10 minutes of you stopping the exercise.
  • In the event of any deterioration in your symptoms please stop the exercises and consult your physiotherapist.
  • These exercises should be performed during the day and evening, but not immediately first thing in the morning.
  • The frequency should be on a little and often basis, or as recommended by your physiotherapist.

Pain relief

To help us optimise your treatment, it is important that you have adequate pain relief. If you are suffering high levels of pain please seek advice from your pharmacist or GP.
