- Your midwife will visit you the day after you go home and give you breastfeeding support. She will tell you how to contact her after that.
- There are Breastfeeding Drop-Ins in and around Cambridge. They run from Monday to Friday and details can be found on the Rosie website. You do not need an appointment you can just turn up and ask for support or advice. Go to the Rosie website and search for breastfeeding drop-ins.
- For another way to keep updated about the drop-ins – go to the Cambridgeshire Infant Feeding page on Facebook. If you click “Like” it will send you notifications and up to date information on the drop-ins.
- For non-urgent advice and support, the Rosie Infant Feeding Team can be contacted Monday- Friday 9am-5pm on 01223 596292 or get in touch via email.
- There is a National Breastfeeding Helpline for advice, open between 09:30 and 21:30, 7 days a week, telephone: 0300 100 0212.
- Remember it is normal for it to take time for you and your baby to learn how to breastfeed. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
