The neonatal family support service is a team of trained counsellors and clinical psychologists who are dedicated to supporting you during your baby’s stay. The team also works closely with the Chaplaincy Team. They can offer you a confidential space to talk about how your experience is impacting on you as a family and as individual. They offer informal support by your baby’s cot side or confidential appointments close to the unit.
If you would like to speak to a member of the neonatal family support service, please speak to the nurse caring for your baby or you can self-refer by emailing NICUFamilySupport@addenbrookes.nhs.uk.
