Zahra's first shift in April 2023
Hello! I’m Zahra, I moved to Cambridge in the Summer of 2022.
I love working with people and wanted to be part of a community and family. Being part of the voluntary programme has enabled me to heal as a person and has given me so much motivation to progress within my career.
I have decided to go to university to study adult nursing and I could not be prouder to be part of the NHS community providing care for others.
If you have ever thought about volunteering or you are uncertain about which career path to take – I could not recommend starting with volunteering at Addenbrookes hospital. The staff are so supportive and welcoming.
