In my role as a comfort pack volunteer I really enjoy the environment of the hospital and am pleased to have the opportunity to engage with patients as I go around and deliver the comfort packs.
It's nice to be able to help people, stop for a chat and brighten their day.
The volunteering team are friendly and helpful, and I would certainly recommend to anyone to come and give volunteering a try.
