Andrew McCaskie, CUH consultant orthopaedic surgeon and professor of orthopaedic surgery and head of the department of surgery at the University of Cambridge, discussed the osteoarthritis condition, which causes pain and problems with joint function.
The talk looked at early disease and treatments that aim to repair or regenerate the joint, and also highlighted the importance of the Cambridge Movement Surgical Hub in ring fenced planned care delivery.
