Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – which has nearly 13,000 employees – is on the search for more talented staff.
The Trust, which serves a rapidly expanding population, is organising a recruitment day where visitors can find out about a myriad of clinical and non-clinical jobs in dozens of business areas.
Called the Cambridge University Hospitals Careers Open Day, it will be held between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, 18 May, in The Deakin Centre, which is immediately next to multi-storey car park one on the Addenbrooke’s Hospital site.
The Trust, also accessible via park and ride, welcomes those who want to grow their experience in healthcare, those interested in moving into it, and those just starting out, including over 16s seeking work experience.
Visitors will be able to talk to staff, view stalls and get a sense of what it is like working at a world-famous Trust, which consists of Addenbrooke’s Hospital and The Rosie maternity.
Resourcing project lead, Ruby Reed, said:
It’s a chance to find out about roles, how to get into them, and leave with a new job ambition. Lots of stands are interactive, with equipment to explore. Don't forget to enter our quiz for the chance to win a computer tablet!
