Cambridge Global Health Partnerships has teamed up with the Royal College of Emergency Medicine to support a fundraising campaign championed by Addenbrooke’s emergency doctor, Tirej Brimo.
The campaign aims to raise £80,000 to help three hospitals in Northwest Syria, which are struggling to care for patients after February’s devastating earthquakes.

Tirej fled the bombing in war-torn Syria as a young medical student. His journey to become a doctor took him through four countries, four medical schools, 10 cities and 21 homes.
