If you are pregnant and your baby is due to arrive between November 2023 and early March 2024, you might be interested in taking part in a programme in which medical students from Cambridge University learn about pregnancy.
The conversations are completely confidential and your name will not be mentioned in any coursework.
This part of the third-year students’ course is one of the most popular studies in their Preparing for Patients course. It enables them to gain a broader, more personal knowledge of how being pregnant and having a child affects you and your family. It helps them to connect their studies and lectures with real life.
If you decide to take part, you will have a pair of students assigned to you. The students will contact you directly to arrange 3 or 4 visits/ or video call meetings with you. The students will be interested to hear about the changes you are going through during your pregnancy and the healthcare you are receiving.
If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity and wish to contribute to the education of our future doctors, please email: pregnancy@medschl.cam.ac.uk
