The racist violence we have seen in early August reminds us yet again why opposing racism in all its forms - in the workplace and in the care we provide - is so important.
We know that some of our staff, our patients and families are feeling scared and anxious at this time.
We will not tolerate racism, or any other form of discrimination or abuse from staff, patients or visitors at any time. If we see anything that’s inappropriate, we will act on it immediately.
