Longest surviving kidney transplant patient celebrates 50th anniversary

Angela Dunn, now 74 and living in France, is thought to be the longest-surviving transplant patient in the world, the operation carried out by Professor Sir Roy Calne is still the same kidney that was transplanted back in 1970.

Visiting will again be permitted on most wards at Addenbrooke’s Hospital from Monday 6 July 2020, although some restrictions apply.
