What should I do if my health is deteriorating?
If you notice deterioration in your symptoms or condition, please follow the advice below:
- If non-urgent and waiting for your first appointment, please contact your GP.
- If you are awaiting a follow up appointment or treatment, please contact your specialist clinical team at the hospital using the contact details below.
- In the event of an emergency please attend your local Emergency Department or dial 999.
Symptoms of concern would be:
- difficulty breathing
- change in voice
- difficulty swallowing
- increase in neck swelling
