Jim has been at CUH for an amazing 40 years.
I can’t imagine working anywhere else!
Jim O’Sullivan
I came to Addenbrooke’s to train as a nurse in 1980, and never left! After two years on a medical ward I moved to the transplant unit for (I thought) a couple of years. It was a time of rapid development, and I quickly caught the transplant ‘bug’.

Jim O’Sullivan - living kidney donor co-ordinator
After 18 years as transplant ward manager, I moved into a role as a living donor coordinator. Transplantation has always been a fascinating, supportive and hugely rewarding area of work. I was also a staff governor for nine years, and have seen CUH change incredibly, with vastly more staff engagement and support. I can’t imagine working anywhere else!
Say thank you
