Join us for a series of artist and museum-led workshops at the University of Cambridge Museums and other venues around Cambridge.
Use your experience as a patient, researcher or member of hospital staff to help us think about the ways that museums and hospitals can work together and experience the museums’ collections as never before!
Series 1: Colour and Nature
Join artists Hannah Jane Walker (hannahjanewalker.co.uk) and Mia Sylvia (miasylvia.co.uk) in a series of workshops exploring colour pigments in the local environment.
Take a foraging walk around the Nine Wells Nature Reserve, explore the science and beauty of local flora and fauna with the Botanic Garden and University of Cambridge Herbarium, then join us for a workshop dyeing materials using everything we’ve found along the way.

Series 2: Museums X Hospitals
Meet with members of the teams at each of the museums to discover their collections.
Join artist Hannah Jane Walker to explore how we might be able to draw on museum collections to humanise our hospital environments.
