Mr Charles Loh

Charles is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with experience in complex reconstruction of the lower and upper limb, head and neck and trunk.

Charles Loh

He is a specialist in microvascular reconstructive surgery, lymphedema surgery and supermicrosurgery. He has published over a hundred publications and book chapters on topics in reconstructive microsurgery. His inventive spirit is evidenced by a patented novel microsurgery coupler clamp filed in the USA, a testament to his relentless pursuit of innovation and improvement.

Having honed his skills at esteemed institutions worldwide, Charles's journey led him to Addenbrooke’s in February 2020, where he continues to push the boundaries of surgical excellence. Prior to his tenure at Addenbrooke’s, he embarked on a transformative 2.5-year clinical and research microsurgery fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. Renowned for its unparalleled caseload in microsurgical reconstruction, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Linkou and Taipei) provided Charles with an immersive experience that shaped his approach to patient care, undertaking the most complex of cases.

Charles likes to relax by going on walks with his wife and traveling the globe.
