Ahid is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
His main area of interest is in the reconstruction of traumatic injuries with a particular focus on the microsurgical reconstruction of the injured extremity. He is a core member of the skin cancer multi-disciplinary service, which involves the treatment and management of all forms of skin cancer.
Alongside his clinical role, he is involved in the teaching and mentorship of junior doctors and medical students.
